PENNSYLVANIA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY IN NEW ROOFTOP LOUNGE
          The Logan Hotel’s opening campaign “Logan Loves Philly – The Great Giveback”
yielded substantial funds for non-profit recipient organization

WHAT:             Join the Logan Hotel for a celebratory announcement of two momentous occasions: the first look at their new rooftop lounge, Assembly and the presentation of a $52,086.50 check to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
 
WHY:               The Logan Hotel opened late 2015 and in support of their local community, The Logan made the commitment to donate 10% of each guest’s total room revenue for all BAR (best available rates) from December 31, 2015, through March 31, 2016 to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS). 
 
                                As the only hospitality destination in the Center City region with an extensive, lush outdoor courtyard – the hotel is proud to support PHS’s mission of beautification of city spaces, opportunities for education and employment, and support of marginalized communities and individuals.
 
                                Assembly, managed by Sage Restaurant Group, will open to the public for the first time on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 7:00 p.m..  The rooftop bar and lounge is situated atop the hotel’s northern rooftop, with a glass barrier that offers uninterrupted views from City Hall in the east to the Art Museum and Fairmount Park in the west. The bar will pour a list of bubbly cocktails, plus a wealth of champagnes and sparkling wines by the glass and by the bottle. The bar and glass-enclosed lounge space will be open year-round, while the sprawling outdoor terrace will be available, weather permitting, every night of the week in the spring, summer and fall.
